Muhammad Sanusi Md Isa said in his
blog
that Azizan

has also altered his daily sleep routine.
The MB used to go to bed 1am or 2am, having worked late into the night to deal with unexpected matters and to issue new 'orders'.
However, the routine has changed. He now sleeps after the Maghrib prayers up to about 10pm, after which he summons Muhammad Sanusi to his home.
"If he does not call me, he will inform (me) that he is meeting so-and-so, all of which is related to work," said Muhammad Sanusi.
"He seems very tired of late. At 12 (midnight) he would finish (work). Azizan works from morning ..., he should rest for awhile.”
Yesterday, Bernama had reported that Azizan had been admitted to the National Heart Institute on Friday after complaining of chest pains, but that his condition is stable.
His press secretary Mohd Helmi Khalid has advised the public not to worry.
He said Azizan, who has high blood pressure, has a blockage in his coronary artery. He has been advised to remain in the hospital for treatment and also to stabilise his blood pressure.
Mohd Helmi said doctors have restricted visitors in order to allow the MB to recover, but that the sultan and sultanah of Kedah and state executive councillors had managed to see him yesterday.
‘Work piling up’
Muhammad Sanusi said many have telephoned to ask about Azizan's health, but that he was unable to provide details as he had been in Germany for work reasons when the MB was admitted to hospital.
He said he had received a text message from Azizan's bodyguard, who told him the MB was being "held" at the hospital.
"I asked: Is he serious? He told me it was (a) routine (check-up), but ... because there was a blockage, he has to stay for tests and treatment.”
Muhammad said it is good that Azizan can rest as he would otherwise be too involved in his work and in attending to visitors.
Azizan often performs his duties in a fast, accurate manner, but that there are zero mistakes because he is also careful, he disclosed.
He related how he has advised Azizan to go on leave, to clear his mind and to get rest as he has been looking very tired.
"Where would I rest? Don't you see our work is piling up? Anyway... where would I go? It would be enough to be on this sofa... over there, it would also be on a sofa," Azizan had reportedly replied, referring to his homes in Sungai Limau and Jalan Sultanah.
