Kedah Menteri Besar Azizan Abdul Razak's health condition has improved and he is expected to be discharged from the National Heart Institute (IJN) in Kuala Lumpur in a few days' time.

penang kedah timber logging azizan abdul razak 310708 03 His special officer Muzaini Azizan said the menteri besar did not undergo any surgery but a series of tests, including magnetic resonance imaging, to check on his heart condition.

"Datuk Seri (Azizan) may be discharged from IJN in two or three days' time," he said after handing over Ramadan contribution to a poor family in Kampung Banggol Lalang, Gurun, today.

Muzaini said Azizan was now resting at IJN to stabilise his blood pressure and control his blood sugar level.
