There is no need for the people of Kedah to give Pakatan a second chance in the state, Umno information chief Ahmad Maslan said.

He said the opposition pact had not been able to fulfil the trust given by the people.

There had been no visible impact brought about by Pakatan's rule in the state in the past three years, he said, adding that existing facilities enjoyed by the people were from the efforts of the federal government.

"The people should realise that the trust they gave to the opposition has ended up in vain because the pact has failed to administer and manage the state.

"There has been no change since the 12th general election," he told a news conference after visiting three ailing Umno veterans, and handing over aid to 80 orphans, single mothers and the poor in Pokok Sena last night.
