A spokesman of PLUSLine told Bernama that vehicles were moving slowly from Bukit Kayu Hitam towards Thailand, from Bukit Tambun to Juru, Penang, from the Menora Tunnel to the Sungai Perak R&R area and from Slim River to Sungkai.
He said south-bound traffic was flowing smoothly from the Sungai Besi toll plaza but there was a rising number of vehicles between Sedenak and Simpang Renggam in Johor.
"We expect a rise in the number of vehicles in the afternoon and evening," he said when contacted.
Meanwhile, according to a PLUS Traffic twitter feed, an accident occurred at 11.57am at Km30.8 north-bound between KLIA and Putrajaya, but there was no obstruction to traffic flow.
A spokesman of the Malaysian Highway Authority said vehicles were moving slowly at the Gombak toll plaza.
