Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar Radin supports the proposal for more state assembly and parliamentary seats be made available for Sabah.
Having more state and parliamentary seats would help bring about faster development in the state, he told reporters at Kinabatangan Umno's Aidilfitri open house in Sandakan today.
He cited his own constituency as an example, which he said was as big as the state of Pahang but only had two state constituencies.
He was commenting on the call by State Barisan Nasional secretary Rahman Dahlan and Puteri Wanita chief Rosnah Abdul Rashid Shirlin for the number of state and parliamentary seats in Sabah to be increased as the last re-delineation exercise was carried out in 2002.
