BAE Systems, a global defence and security leader, has launched a Bahasa Malaysia website to promote the benefits of its Eurofighter Typhoon.

Eurofighter Typhoon In a statement today, BAE Systems said the website is aimed at anyone who wants to gain a greater understanding of BAE Systems and why the Eurofighter Typhoon is the right solution for Malaysia.

"In addition to giving background information on BAE Systems, it focuses on the aircraft's capabilities and provides further information on Europe's largest military collaborative programme," the company said.

BAE Systems, on behalf of the Eurofighter consortium - Cassidian of Germany and Spain together with Alenia Aeronautica of Italy - is proposing the Typhoon as the solution for Malaysia’s requirement for a new Medium Range Combat Aircraft.

Malaysia is planning to replace its fleet of aging fighter jets.
