Former Lord President and Terengganu State Executive Councillor for Special Tasks and Hisbah Tun Salleh Abas had confirmed to speak at the DAP-PAS dialogue on Saturday, DAP chairman Lim Kit Siang announced today. The dialogue, titled "PAS Terengganu Government - Towards A Just Malaysia", will also be attended by other Terengganu PAS' big guns, Mentri Besar Hadi Ahmad Awang and three senior state executive councillors. According to Lim, Tun Salleh Abas' portfolio "is the first of its kind in Malaysian state government history". The hisbah is similar to an independent ombudsman who receives and acts on public complaints against government wrongdoings. The public forum is to be held at the Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall on Jan 22 at 8.30pm
