Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Said said the state government maintained the humanitarian principle and gave priority to the people regardless of their political inclination.
“Terengganu, which now has ample water capacity, is prepared to channel its water to the state governed by the opposition if there is a request from Kelantan.
“However, we will study the terms and the price for the water before approving the use in Kelantan,” he said after the handing over of e-books to Year 4 pupils in the Kuala Besut state constituency in Besut today.
Bernama is made to understand that Terengganu is now among the states that have ample water resources in the country and the water tariff is among the lowest for each cubic litre charged to the consumers.
