Some 1,400 delegates from the 99 divisions of right-wing movement Perkasa are expected to attend its second annual general meeting on Wednesday, said Perkasa president Ibrahim Ali.

He said a further 3,000 observers were also expected at the meeting which will be held at Dewan Centrum, Kompleks Centrum Taman Setiawangsa in Kuala Lumpur.

“The AGM will be opened by former inspector-general of police Rahim Noor who we have invited in honour of his vast contributions for the nation,” he told reporters at the Parliament lobby today.
