Local residents in the state constituencies of Dengkil, Morib, Bangi, Kajang and Sri Serdang will have the opportunity to approach Muhyiddin during the people-oriented programme with the theme 'Pulse of the People Loves Selangor', organised by the state BN.
Selangor Umno secretary Mohd Zin Mohamed said in Shah Alam that the walkabout was an extension of the series of visits initiated by Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to the state constituencies of Ijok, Kuang, Rawang and Gombak Setia on Oct 8.
Muhyiddin will begin his walkabout programme by meeting teachers in the Sepang district at Dengkil town and hand out Deepavali goodies to the Indian community there.
He will also meet with religious teachers from religious schools, 'tahfiz' and other schools at the Kuala Langat Industrial Training Institute in Jugra, Banting.
He will attend the Premier Briefing Session at Universiti Putra Malaysia and perform the zuhur prayer at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Mosque in Bangi.
At 3pm, Muhyiddin is scheduled to meet the Chinese community in Sungai Chua, Kajang, and hand out contributions to senior citizens there.
This will be followed by tea with residents at Batu 14 Puchong prior to attending the final programme, a gathering with the Puchong community at Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil Batu 14, Puchong.
