Abdul Khalid Ibrahim will clarify on several issues raised by the opposition leader in the state legislative assembly, Mohamad Satim Diman on the payment of salary and bonus to the general manager of the Selangor State Economic Development Corporation (PKNS) when winding up the debate on the 2012 Budget next week.
The Selangor menteri besar said he would make a comparison between the salary and allowance received by the managers of companies under the Khazanah Nasional Berhad and the PKNS general manager during the winding up.
“This is because the income of managers of companies under Khazanah are recorded and I will show to members of the (state) assembly their total income compared with the income received by the PKNS general manager,” he said when approached by reporters after attending the state assembly sitting in Shah Alam today.
Mohamad Satim, at a press conference yesterday, questioned the salary and bonus amounting to RM1.4 million paid to the PKNS general manager for a two-year period which was described as excessive and unreasonable.
The state assembly will sit again on Monday.
