Malacca tables RM307.6mil budget for 2012
The Malacca government today tabled its 2012 budget totaling RM307.6 million compared with RM301.71 million last year.

Chief Minister Mohd Ali Rustam said RM245.1 million was allocated for operating expediture while RM62.5 million for development.
“The state’s revenue for 2012 is estimated at RM245.3 million, comprising tax receipts RM99 million, non-tax receipts RM76.5 million and non-revenue receipts RM69.8 million,” he said in the state legislative assembly in Ayer Keroh.
Under operating expenditure, RM72.9 million is allocated for emoluments, RM98.9 million for services and supplies, RM69.1 million for grants and fixed payments, RM1 million for procurement of assets and RM3.2 million for other expenses.
Under development expenditure, infrastructure gets RM22.8 million, agriculture RM3.5 million, social RM24.7 million and community RM11.5 million.
