Najib flies to Bali for Asean summit
Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak left for Bali, Indonesia, today to attend the 19th Asean Summit and related summits from tomorrow to Saturday.
Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak left for Bali, Indonesia, today to attend the 19th Asean Summit and related summits from tomorrow to Saturday.
Najib, who was accompanied by his wife Rosmah Mansor, flew off in a special government aircraft from the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) base in Subang near Petaling Jaya at 3.15pm.
Also accompanying the prime minister was Foreign Minister Anifah Aman.
The Asean summit will discuss, among other things, the direction of the East Asian regional architecture.
United States President Barack Obama is scheduled to attend the Bali meeting for the first time following the third US-Asean Leaders Meeting held in Bali on Nov 18.
