The Kuala LumpurHigh Court will hear March 29, the judicial review filed by the Bersih 2.0 movement to quash the order declaring it an unlawful society.
Judge Datuk Rohana Yusuf fixed the date after meeting parties in chambers today.
The court was scheduled to hear the judicial review application filed by 14 members of the movement's steering committee, including S Ambiga, against the home minister, inspector-general of police (IGP) and the government.
Senior Federal Counsel Munahyza Mustafa, representing the three respondents, told reporters that the court postponed the hearing after granting an extension of time applied by the steering committee to reply to the respondents' affidavit.
On Sept 28, the steering committee was granted leave from the High Court for judicial review.
They are seeking to quash the home minister's order dated July 1, declaring Bersih 2.0 an unlawful society and a declaration that the order is null and void and of no effect.
