Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s personal website has been defaced by suspected Indonesian hackers.
According to a blog post by prominent pro-Pakatan Rakyat blog Milo Suam , the incident took place early this morning.
Hackers left a note claiming that the website was hacked by 'Tofan Batam'.
Batam is an Indonesian island south of Singapore.
Hours later, the hackers posted a new picture depicting a boy urinating on two Malaysian flags.
When Malaysiakini checked on the website late this evening, the hacker posted images were already removed and replaced with a notice which states that the website was under maintenance.
The hacking of Najib’s website comes just two days after Malaysia beat Indonesia 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw at the football finals of the 26th SEA Games in Jakarta.
