The Finance Ministry has set up a hotline to answer public queries on the government's one-off RM500 cash aid to families earning RM3,000 and below a month.

The 1-800-22-500 toll-free line is operational from tomorrow (Dec 7) and will be in service from 9am till 5pm on working days.

The public can also e-mail to belanjawan2012@tresury.gov.my ., it said in a statement today.

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, when tabling the 2012 Budget, announced that the cash aid would be paid next month.
