Najib to aid Pekida in return for election support

your say TVGS: Is Najib getting paid to administer the country or to go round campaigning for his party?

Swkdayaks: Najib's talk of "Group of the Moderates", "1Malaysia", etc, are nothing but mere slogans to deceive Malaysians and the international community. His actions, as shown in his speech to Pekida, are the opposite.

Here, he clearly promotes and preaches hatred, instigating Pekida members, the Malays and Muslims, not to trust non-Malays, non-Muslims and not to share power and not even to give any chance for non-Malays and non-Muslims to play any political leadership role in Malaysia because that, according to him, will trample on the Malays and Muslims!!!

fairplayer: Pekida, is Najib your provider? Have you no principles? Do you owe so much to Najib? Malaysia is doomed if there are two million or more Malaysians with Pekida's mentality...

Alicescat: So, Pekida has no qualms supporting this government that lies, cheats and steals; this government which condones open corruption and breaches of trust and shamelessly flaunts all of that at its general meetings. I am saddened.

tailek: Najib is creating his own personality cult (and I thought cults were not allowed in Islam) with his overtures to Pekida and Perkasa and the like. We (including the Malays themselves) have to be very wary of this man. He is trying to make himself omnipotent.

Hang Babeuf: The only possible explanations for Najib's reckless and unprincipled behaviour are either (1) he is rattled, has become erratic, inconsistent, and is lashing out all over the place. This is unlikely. Or, (2) his rushing to, and embracing, the right while feinting towards the centre is a considered choice, a rational strategy.

It must express his advisers' views of Umno's situation and prospects. Presumably, that it cannot win much of the non-Malay vote (so his "1Malaysia" is a Malays-on-Top Malaysia, like it or leave it!), that it is in trouble with the Malay votes too, and that it must therefore try to win back as much of the Malay votes as it can - by whatever means will work.

Mainly, by "out-Malaying" Perkasa and Pekida (or at least matching them) and by "out-Islaming" the older "PAS that was", not the Pakatan-member PAS of today. Grab the hardline Malay vote and detach as much of the old rural Islamist vote from PAS. This to win an election? More likely it will make Malaysia ungovernable.

Joker: Another example of you-help-me-I-help-you. How blatant can it get? How shameless can Pekida be? An oath of allegiance to Najib personally? What is he? A prophet? A shameful display that disgusts right-thinking Muslims everywhere!

TVGS: Here is Pekida, an NGO in their own right, asking for aid from the PM. I help you, you help me, Najib says. Fine. But Najib's comment on "We cannot allow the Malays diinjak-injakkan (to be stepped upon) on our own land" is a blatant lie reflecting Umno's time-tested fear tactic to force "idiotic Malaysians" (to quote Tun M) to blindly vote in Umno.

meek: Malaysian leaders working in hand with the underworld. My goodness... a PM with Tiga Line... are you so desperate? You are sending a wrong signal to the others... just like a dinner organised by the Indian underworld in the PGH in the Mines on Saturday. We are just rooting to be rotten in the not distant future. A sick PM is just like a rotten apple... time to discard him and his cohorts.

Disgusted: Another you-help-me-I-help-you promise, which he will find hard to keep because he has gone around making so many promises he will not remember many of them. The first thing he will do if BN retains the federal government is to scoot away for an expensive holiday at the rakyat's expense with FLOM and forget about everything, just to plan his next mega project to put money in his and the cronies' pockets.
