Chegubard to Papagomo: Bring it on

Former PKR supreme council member Badrul Hisham Shaharin shrugged off popular pro-Umno blogger Papagomo’s threats to release a “career-killing” video of him commenting on a purported sex video featuring PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim, and challenged him to release it in full.
Badrul Hisham (

), who is also known by his popular nickname Chegubard, claimed that he pretended to believe the video is genuine in an effort to convince those showing him the video to give him the original copy.
“The video that would supposedly be aired is just a video of Chegubard trying to convince (Shazryl) Eskay (Abdullah) and (former Malacca chief minister) Rahim (Thamby Chik) to give me a copy of the libellous sex video.
“Chegubard hopes that the full video would be released where there are comments by Rahim about a sensational case involving (Prime Minister) Najib (Abdul Razak), and his lies that he did not watch the video and knew nothing of it,” Badrul wrote on his blog yesterday.
He claimed that he kept Anwar and PKR president Wan Azizah Wan Ismail well-informed of the situation, including his attempts to obtain the full recording of the video.
Badrul Hisham also denied Papagomo’s claims that he sent someone to pay him off.
“Why should Chegubard deal with a blog filled with insults and lewd comments? If this is true, please state who was sent by Chegubard to buy that blogger,” he wrote.
Papagomo had previously released a video of PKR parliamentarian Johari Abdul watching the video with one of the Datuk T trio, allegedly showing him agreeing that it was Anwar in the sex tape.
Johari, too, had denied this and challenged Papagomo to release the full video.
Undeterred, he turned his sights on Badrul in a blog post on Wednesday, promising a similar video featuring Badrul.
Meanwhile, PKR Youth lodged police reports against Papagomo nationwide over his earlier allegation that Anwar had sodomised columnist Amin Iskandar, accusing him of defaming Anwar.
Eleven police reports were made today and two more will be lodged tomorrow - one for each state or federal territory except Putrajaya. A report was also lodged with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), said ithe wing’s executive secretary, Syed Badli Shah Syed Osman.
“The blogger Papagomo slanders often. We all know that, but no action had been taken against him so far.
“So we are lodging reports en masse this time and see whether the police would act,” he said.
This is the third round of police reports and second MCMC report lodged by the youth wing against Papagomo this year, according to deputy information chief Rozan Azen Mat Rasip.
The columnist had also lodged his own report against Papagomo on Tuesday.
