Number of Pahang flood victims rises to nearly 3,000

The number of flood victims in Pahang rose to 2,894 this morning, comprising 2,414 in Kuantan and 480 in Rompin.

A spokesperson at the Pahang police flood operations room said the flood affected 21 villages in Kuantan.

Fourteen flood relief centres have been opened in Kuantan and four in Rompin.
