The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit Malaysia as part of a global tour next year to mark Queen Elizabeth’s diamond jubilee.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit Malaysia as part of a global tour next year to mark Queen Elizabeth’s diamond jubilee.
According to a report by Britain’s The Telegraph , the royal couple will be visiting several countries on behalf of the Queen.
The dates of the visit has not been confirmed, but the newspaper reports that Prince William and Kate Middleton will be also travelling to Singapore and the Solomon Islands.
The royal newlyweds will be part of an extensive contingent of senior royals visiting the Queen’s 15 realms and major Commonwealth countries.
However, the Queen and Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, will remain in the UK for the diamond jubilee celebrations.
The queen turns 86 in April while the duke, turns 91 in June, has publicly stated he is reducing his workload.
