Negri MCA chief defends remarks on Teo's mother

Why are you complaining that a certain politician is being late in showing her gratitude to you? Aren't you politicising the matter?

1Malay-sia-sia: All the good karma from doing vital deeds gone by sheer ego, ambition and to score political points. What a waste. Isn't blessings from doing good things without motives in the eyes of the lord better than all else?

Boiling Mud: Taking advantage of being a doctor and expecting gratitude in return for helping or treating a patient is a shameful thing. We should be teaching our medical students to serve society at large with humility and compassion.

Disgusted: Yeow, of course MCA has a lot of money to bribe the rakyat as it is funded by the rakyat itself. Where do you think all our taxes and rates go to? BN, of course. Who controls the Treasury?

Even in states controlled by Pakatan Rakyat, all allocation for the state is given via BN people even though they were voted out.

If the rates and taxes including oil royalties (Kelantan) are given to the respective states to manage, Pakatan would be in a better position to maintain the states and do more social work for the rakyat of their states. The federal government keeps choking off these states of funds in order to make them look bad.

In spite of this, the Pakatan-held states have been successful in elevating their financial status and making ends meet one way or another.

If Pakatan wins the federal government in the next general election, then they will be able to ameliorate corruption and put the whole country on a better financial footing.

ONG: Before debating on whether Serdang MP Teo Nie Ching should have thanked Yeow the next day instead of many months later, or whether Teo need to thank Yeow just once or should she have thanked Yeow profusely at least once a week for the rest of her life, or whether Teo should thank Yeow by shaking his hand, or kissing his feet, we should first ask the question: Why are we having a health system whereby sick people need to get MCA bigwigs' assistance in order to get proper medical attention?

I am also aware of another case many years ago where someone needed the timely intervention of then-health minister Chua Jui Meng in order to get appropriate medical attention in a government general hospital.

Is such a system being deliberately created by the BN government so that their party leaders can demonstrate their 'importance'?

Artchan: Yeow, if you said so many came to you and asked for help but you never revealed the names, then why pick on Nie Ching and reveal her name?

Did I miss something or you thought she was easy meat. The best bet is for you to shut up. I think the Chinese community have had enough of you.

Versey: This fellow is not only behaving ungentlemanly and without professional etiquette, he is also doing more harm than good to the patient, in this case, Teo's mother.

If he can't understand how hurting it would be to Teo's mother in seeing her illness is being used as a means to attack her beloved daughter, then he should go and consult his wife or his mother.

Little Bird: Just watch. People like Ibrahim, Hasan Ali, all the ex-PKR BN-friendly frogs will not be given any ticket to contest by Umno come the next general election. These pathetic people are being made used of by Umno but will not be rewarded with seats.

Najib knows you are a loser and he lacks the guts to nominate you. Actually it makes no difference whether you stand on the ticket of Perkasa or BN. By all appearances, people will nail your coffin. You cannot to escape their scorn.

Nik V: We have no doubt that you believe in Allah SWT. But neither do we doubt that there are other nutcases who are believers, such as David Koresh, Adolph Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Idi Amin, etc.

But to many of us, Ibrahim Ali is a big joke who doesn't mind putting Malaysia within harm's way.

David Dass: If we fear God, it is because we believe he exists and is watchful of our behavior. We fear God because we know he knows everything - even the thoughts in our heads. If we believe in God, we must know that God despises hypocrisy and dishonesty and does not condone the use of violence or the threat of it in his name.

If we believe in God, we must know that God has the power to look after himself and the universe he created. If we fear God, we will know the importance of truth and seek justice for all.

If we do not subscribe to truth and justice then we do not fear God and we do not fear him because we do not believe in him. It is easy to talk and to preach. It is hard to live your life in accordance with the dictates of your religion. Any religion.

Lets be fair: This truly may be your Swan Song, Ibrahim. Croak all you want now...
