VOXPOP 'It's time to re-open the Balkis accounts and we'll see how many ‘cows' are dipping their filthy hands into the funds.'

MB's wife wins case, Balkis to be reinstated

Fair Play: The fact that the ROS (Registrar of Societies) has been ordered by the court to reinstate Balkis is a step in the right direction.

Once reinstated, it entirely up to Selangor MB Abdul Khalid Ibrahim's wife, Salbiah Tunut, to reveal the 'excesses' and the actions to be taken to recover the 'losses'.

Of course, the course of events would depend largely on the outcome of GE13 and who the next MB will be.

Anonymous_3fc4: It looks like former Selangor MB Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo's wife Zaharah Kechik's plan to destroy evidence of her wrongdoings when she was Balkis president has badly misfired and has boomeranged back to nail her to the wall.

Those responsible have to go to jail. If former French president Jacques Chirac can go to jail, why not our prime ministers if they are found to be corrupt?

Anonymous: No more sweeping cows under the carpet. It's time to re-open the accounts and we'll see how many ‘cows' are dipping their filthy hands into the funds.

But anybody wants to bet that ROS is going to appeal this decision and will eventually win the case?

The Supreme Court will overturn this High Court decision. This is Bolehland and everybody knows who controls the courts.

Alan Goh: Tuan hakim , what about the over RM10 million in Balkis funds siphoned out? Please get them to reinstate the fund to Balkis as it does not belong to their grandfather.

Anonymous_4031: Yes, return the money that was siphoned off in haste from Balkis, Selangor; and return it to the rightful owner.

The amount returned should tally with the figure when it disappeared from its account. Will those people who made the money ‘disappear' be charged?

Armageddon: It took almost three years for the court to reverse the verdict. Justice delayed is justice denied.

Najib slams critics of his haj trip for slander

Freemsia: Slander is a grave sin. So is meeting up with Saiful Bukhari Azlan to ‘fitnah' DSAI (Anwar Ibrahim). So is using race and religion to create hatred among Malays and non-Malays. So is corruption.

PM Najib Razk is not in a position to talk about morality. With all the racism and corruption in his own party, he dares to talk about fighting and safeguarding Islam.

Ever wonder why PAS will never work with Umno? It is because PAS is against anything that is anti-Islamic, such as racism and corruption. It is as simple as that. PAS and Umno are like water and oil.

Docs: Most Muslim pilgrims who preform the haj not only make the arduous physical and mental requirements for their trip to Mecca, but their preparations start years in advance.

Most Haj pilgrims here spend years saving money slowly but surely (through Tabung Haji) to bear the cost for their once-in-a-lifetime Haj trip.

With Najib and Rosmah Mansor, they did their Haj with all the luxuries afforded - private jet to Saudi Arabia and back with the cost borne by the Malaysian taxpayers, feted by the Saudi prince at a grand banquet, special bodyguard protection during the Haj and the path they walked were cordoned off by security personal so they could preform their Haj comfortably without the masses breathing down their necks.

To me, I feel that Najib and Rosmah's trip was more of a holiday then a religious pilgrimage.

Bender: "Where is morality and ethics?" Najib, have you looked in the mirror lately? There's your answer.

"There should be concern over what would happen if others are allowed to demonise and make fun of Islam" Again, don't look too far, take a good look at Hajah Rosmah (and yourself).

Yes, that's what we've been saying all this while, we are concerned about people demonising Islam. You and your wife mak a mockery of Islam on a daily basis, not to mention the rest of your Umno so-called Malay-Muslims. Stop pretending already.

Bluemountains: Is the deletion of Altantuya Shaariibuu's immigration record not a sin? Indeed, it is more than a sin; it is a crime. Unfortunately, the authorities are not even interested in finding out who ordered the deletion.

Little Han2: My friends told me Islam is a religion of love and peace but this man is inciting hatred by claiming the religion is under threat. What kind of leader uses religion to gain political points?

Nirvana: Why is it when others are slandered by your men, you do not call it slander? Where is your morality when you make the rich richer and ignore the plight of the poor?

Kelantanese: What goes around comes around, Jibby.
