Sabah Umno executive secretary Kadzim M Yahya today took his oath as a senator at the Dewan Negara in Kuala Lumpur.

The swearing-in ceremony was carried out before Senate president Abu Zahar Ujang and witnessed by other members of the Senate.

Kadzim, 52, from Sandakan, replaces Armani Mahiruddin whose tenure as senator will end on Dec 22 after serving for two terms.

The Sabah Umno executive secretary for the past 20 years is a graduate of Valley University (formerly known as Ealing College), United Kingdom and also holds a Diploma in Public Administration from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM).
