A complaints centre on solid waste management in Selangor will be established next year, said Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.

He said through the initiative, members of the public could lodge complaints via a toll-free line.

The pilot project had been implemented by the Petaling Jaya City Council, he told reporters after attending a shopping programme involving senior citizens at a supermarket in Kuala Selangor today.

He was commenting on complaints among the people of Selangor about the poor delivery system in collection of waste from households.
