Perak DAP secretary Nga Kor Ming today lodged a police report claiming that an envelope containing a threatening note and a bullet was mailed to his mother’s house in Ayer Tawar, about 70 kilometres from Ipoh, yesterday.  

NONE Ipoh police deputy chief Supt Ahmad Termizi Abdul Haq said Nga, who was accompanied by his lawyer and other DAP leaders, lodged the police report at the Ipoh police headquarters at 10.30am today.

“Although the report was lodged here, the investigation will still be carried out by Ayer Tawar police,” he said when contacted.  

Meanwhile, Nga, speaking to reporters at the police station, said this was the first time he had received such a threat and expressed disappointment that his political enemies were involving his mother in their “political games”.
