Several areas in the districts of Seremban, Port Dickson and Rembau will experience water supply disruption on Jan 10 in view of scheduled maintenance at water treatment plants and the replacement and repair of leaking pipes.    

Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan Sdn Bhd (Sains) customer service and public affairs manager Azlan Abdul Aziz said the water disruption would be from 8am on Jan 10 to 8am the following day.

He said that in Port Dickson, the areas to be affected are Bukit Palong, Bukit Pelandok to Tanah Merah, Port Dickson town to Lukut, Spring Hill, Port Dickson town to 4th Mile Jalan Pantai and Sua Betong to Air Kuning.   

“In Seremban district, the areas to be affected cover the whole of Rantau while in Rembau the areas are Estet Hentian Tinggi, Taman Chembong Utama, IPD Chembong, Sekolah Teknik Chembong, Halal Park, Pedas-Linggi toll plaza, Jalan Merbau 9, Kampung Minching A, Taman Pinggiran Pedas Perdana, Jalan Mungkal, Jalan Tok Nara, Jalan Ampang Batu.  

“Jalan Mungkal Tobek, Jalan Tok Menteri, Jalan Tok Samad, Jalan Tanjung Semut, Taman Pedas Indah, Kampung Sungai Ibor, Minching Lama, Minching Baru, Kampung Anak Air Kundur, Sekolah Kebangsaan Pedas, ILP Pedas, Seberang Batu 1 and 2, Kampung Sungai Batu, Pedas Batu 1, 2 and 3 as well as Kampung Sungai Lalah,” he said in Seremban today.   

He also said that there would water supply disruption from 8am to 5pm on Jan 10 in the entire S2 Heights area in Seremban.

Water supply is expected to be restored in stages during the period.
