Singaporean dies after falling off cliff in Perak

A 35 year-old Singaporean participating in an extreme adventure cycling race died after he plunged off a cliff in Malaysia's northern Perak state, police said yesterday.
A 35 year-old Singaporean participating in an extreme adventure cycling race died after he plunged off a cliff in Malaysia's northern Perak state, police said yesterday.
The victim, Ho Swee Haw, was cycling downhill when he fell over the cliff while trying to avoid debris in the road, local police chief Wee Beng Gee was quoted as saying by Bernama news agency.
Ho had arrived from the neighbouring republic Saturday to participate in the race.
Police said Ho, who sustained head and chest injuries, was taken to a local hospital but died later. - AFP
