VOXPOP 'By questioning PAS' stand on their support of Himpun, Muhyiddin is in effect declaring his support for the Himpun rallies.'

Why ban members from Himpun, DPM asks PAS

Trumpet Call: The truth is finally out. By questioning PAS' stand for not backing Himpun, Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin is in effect declaring his own support for the Himpun rallies as well as what the speakers say in their speeches, which are racist and anti-Christian.

The persistent allegations of a Christian threat to the country is totally baseless and a lie straight from hell. Yet up till today, there is no rebuke from the government. I have always wondered why. Now I know.

The second-in-command in our multi-ethnic multi-cultural country backs it. How can we allow this to continue another five years?

Nirvana: Muhyiddin, are you saying you are a better Muslim than those leading PAS? I had thought you were more mature and moderate but unfortunately you don't even have credibility compared to PAS leaders.

It now confirms you are promoting Malaysians of one race and religion to fight against Malaysians of another race and religion.

It's sad that you, as DPM, are inciting the people. How can Malaysians even from your own race trust you to lead Malaysia towards peace and harmony?

Keturunan Malaysia: What about Bersih, why did you stop people from attending that? Are you scared of what Bersih will tell the people?

Please DPM, let's not have two sets of rules... and excuse me DPM, your tail is showing.

Human Race: This is what happens when the DPM assumes all Malays are dumb and easily manipulated, but he doesn't know those types are no longer alive or probably nearing expiry date. The new generation of Malays are smart so it's hard for him to fool them.

Chks: DPM, if detailed analysis is done, one of the first persons who should go (voluntarily or involuntarily) is you, because of your remarks on the NFC (National Feedlot Corporation) scandal, your Malay first, Malaysian second policy, your policy to revert PPSMI, your most insensitive remarks about Lim Guan Eng's son, etc.

What good have you given to the rakyat as a whole?

Anwar: Gov't supports Israel-Palestine states, too

P Dev Anand Pillai : If the Umno Malays are so against Israel, why are they then having Israelis doing business here through their American proxies?

If they don't support Israel, then they must do it like the Iranians - have nothing to do with the American. Don't even touch KFC, McDonald's, Coca-Cola and a host of American products sold here. Can the Umno Malays do that?

Blind Freddo: I would like to point out to you that in the overall scheme of things, the Israeli-Palestine situation has a priority for Malaysians rated about 14,597 on the list of things to do.

Human Being: Many Malay-Muslims are easily swayed by Muslim politicians because basically they are religiously biased. Anything that connects to Jews or Israel (and sometimes to Christians) are deemed evil to them.

If the Malays are so concerned with human rights, why not also ask what their leaders' stand on North Korea or some other issues in other countries?

Emptiness: I don't understand why our government influences Muslims to hate Israel. We should support peace. This is too much, to the extent of hating Jews and Jewish-owned companies.

If we really want to follow this through, we wouldn't have many things such as IT equipment, banking services, insurance and so on.

Anonymous_4031: The Palestinian and Israeli states should live side by side in peace and prosper as two peoples. Squabbles would get them nowhere. Leaders from both sides should be ready to negotiate with a give-and-take attitude.

Onyourtoes: Muhyiddin, has it ever occurred to you that this Israel security stuff is thrown at you as bait and you have stupidly gulped it hook, line, and sinker?

You can never be savvy enough to talk about international politics. Maybe Anwar Ibrahim was trying to tell you that your foreign minister has unwittingly recognised Israel because he, like you, probably did not understand the two-state solution and the security concerns of both parties.

Swkdayaks: Muhyiddin had failed in the NFC project. Our universities ranking had also fallen. As agriculture and education minister, Muhyiddin has in both cases failed miserably.

I don't think he understands anything about the Israeli-Palestinian issue. It's just beyond his intellectual capability. Internationally, Anwar is too far ahead of Muhyiddin and Najib.

Luke 1v37: Anwar shouldn't waste his time with the likes of Muhyiddin and try to explain himself. These people are bankrupt of ideas.
