A truly 1Malaysia hate campaign in TTDI
VOXPOP 'Is it coincidence that the three 'hate-figures' are truly the representatives of 1Malaysia - a Malay, Indian and a Chinese?'
DAP unfazed by Guan Eng, Ambiga 'hate' posters
Changeagent:
Penang CM Lim Guan Eng must be doing a stellar job in managing his state that even hate-mongers and Umno sympathisers all the way in TTDI (Taman Tun Dr Ismail) are threatened by his existence.
If anything, it means that his work in Penang have gained national prominence and that the Umno fraternity are taking notice with fearful anxiety.
As for the other poster that reads "Vote Ambiga, vote for free sex", it really demonstrates the stupidity of the perpetrators since Ambiga Sreenevaasan herself has no plans to contest in the general election at all. The word 'vote' has no relevance for her here.
On a different note, it was absolutely hilarious that they decided to stick Ambiga and national laureate A Samad Said's poster on a billboard that was advertising Gucci and Burberry products.
In this case, I thought it would have been more appropriate to put up Rosmah Mansor's picture instead.
Ferdtan: Is it coincidence that the three 'hate-figures' are truly the representatives of 1Malaysia - a Malay, Indian and a Chinese?
In fact all three - Lim Guan Eng, Bersih's Ambiga and Samad Said - are the epitome of ‘truly Malaysia'.
Who are the people behind such acts? Instead of insulting them, they are giving them good publicity at their expense. When their reputation is intact, words or in this case posters, won't hurt them.
Trumpet Call: What a paradox. The three individuals who are maligned in such a cowardly manner are actually heroes in the eyes of a lot of moderate Malaysians. They are not afraid to stand up for what is right and righteous.
Also, the rascals who put up the offensive posters did so in the wrong area. TTDI is a district where the majority of the residents are educated middle-class.
Such people are not easily influenced by trash nor swayed by emotions. They know who the true Malaysian heroes are.
Abasir: When you have a desperate, immoral and absolutely unscrupulous man leading a decadent party, you can't expect much more than this from its equally desperate followers.
Shanandoah: How fearful these characters can get of the changes soon coming their way. The more they engage in this kind of hatred against leaders who are upright and accountable, the greater will be the resolve of the electorate to put them in office come GE 13.
These posters are only demonising their own corrupt leaders who will soon be on the way out for the good of this multi-racial secular country.
Anonymous: This is yet another ugly and cowardly act committed by the very same political desperados who threw pig heads into mosques.
They thought the rakyat are stupid and will believe their dirty acts of lies and falsehoods. The more dirty tactics they use to confuse and mislead the people, the quicker they will collapse.
Fair and Open: When an empire's fall is imminent, their leaders actions will unknowingly promote the future leaders by smearing them like this stupid campaign. This prophecy shall be proven correct soon when Umno collapses come the 13th general election.
Anon99: As a Pakatan Rakyat supporter, I must admit that there is a strong perception among non-Malay voters that LGE (Lim Guan Eng) only cares about the Malays.
Look at all the illegal traders who set up their stalls with no taken by the local authorities despite numerous complaints from the residents.
If you are a chief miniser for all races, why do you allowed the recital of Muslim prayers during your party convention, but not the recital of prayers from the other religions? This shows that you play the race card as much as those in BN.
Armageddon: The poster say that LGE is anti-Malay. With all these stupid things going on, a Malay like me may begin hating the Malays.
Perkasa aims ang pow issue dart at Najib
Joker: Yes, finally Perkasa said something I can agree with. Where Perkasa is concerned, there is definitely double standards since Perkasa can be seditious, malicious and defamatory but still get away scot-free.
Even the poor MCA chap (Collin Tiew), who was not even an organiser of the event, had to resign while Ibrahim Ali need not even apologise.
Multi Racial: If the claim by Perkasa Youth chief Irwan Fahmi about BN giving out white envelopes during the CNY (Chinese New Year) event was true, then we want to know why nobody highlighted this.
White signify death and it does not matter whether there is a BN logo on the ‘ang pow'. I want to know why MCA condones this and not correcting the wrong.
Yes, I agree that Ibrahim Ali's action was wrong and so were Najib's and BN's.
Anonymous : "Perkasa has described Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's comment on the white ang pow issue four days after the Malay right-wing group committed the mistake during its Chinese New Year open house as akin to the pot calling the kettle black."
For the very first time, I agree with Perkasa.
