The prime minister's wife Rosmah Mansor today attended a tazkirah or religious talk at Seri Perdana, the official residence of the prime minister in Putrajaya today.

Rosmah, who is also the Association of Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers (Bakti) president, was accompanied by the wife of deputy prime minister Noorainee Abdul Rahman and the wife of the chief secretary to the government, Wan Noorlina Wan Hussein.

The programme started off with berselawat or prayer to the prophet and followed by a talk on 'Rasulallah sebagai ikon' (the prophet as an icon) by reality television show, Imam Muda 2010 winner Muhammad Asyraf Mohd Ridzuan.

The annual programme was organized by Bakti, in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration.

About 250 people attended the annual programme including members of Bakti, Association for Wives of Public Servants and Women in Public Service (Puspanita), Armed Forces Welfare Organization (Bakat), Police Family's Association (Perkep) and Federal Territory and Selangor Single Mothers Association.
