Pertubuhan Pribumi Perkasa Malaysia (Perkasa) is demanding former information minister Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir to explain his allegation that voters in the Kulim-Bandar Baru constituency could easily be bought.

NONE Perkasa information chief Ruslan Kassim ( right ) said Kadir had created an impression to the public that voters in the constituency were money mad and had no morals.

“Abdul Kadir should explain whether he is the script reader for (opposition leader) Anwar Ibrahim to destroy Umno from inside," he said when contacted today.

Ruslan, who is formerly Parti Keadilan Rakyat information chief, asked the former minister to fully explain his statement made in January amidst talk that he was dissatisfied and disappointed with the government for not appointing him as the new Malaysia Airlines chairperson.

“Don’t say everything that Barisan Nasional did was right and good when you were holding positions in the party and government. But now that you are not, you say they were all bad and wrong,” he said.

Ruslan reminded Kadir what the elders always say - “do not hate nor love extremely” - because who Kadir loves today, he may hate tomorrow or later on.

“As humans, we all have strengths and weaknesses,” he said.

Kadir has been drawing attention after he said at a forum recently that voters in the Kulim-Bandar Baru constituency could easily be bought over with a payment of RM100 to RM1,000 each to vote for BN.
