Sarawak People's Party (PRS) Youth chief Mong Dagang's action in allegedly halting welfare aid to a handicapped individual for supporting the opposition has nothing to do with the party.

NONE PRS vice-president Joseph Salang said it was the official's personal action without involving the party's views.

"As Mong Dagang (right) had said, it is his stand and should not involve the party," he told reporters after launching the Eighth Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union Digital Broadcasting Symposium at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur today.

The Borneo Post had reported that Mong Dagang, who is also state agriculture modernisation minister, had issued a letter to the Sri Aman Division Agriculture Department to halt welfare aid to Frusis Lebi, 52.
