Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman today called on Sabah BN to close ranks and move as a team to face the upcoming general election.

He said the close cooperation among BN component parties was vital to ensure that Sabah would remain a BN stronghold for the 13th general election.

"All of these will ensure victory for us. We need to unite to strengthen the party so that BN will win big," he said at the closing of Perdana Zone 2 briefing programme at Menggatal community hall in Kota Kinabalu today.

His speech text was read by Sabah State Assembly speaker Salleh Said Keruak, who is also Sabah Umno liaison committee deputy chairman.

Musa also advised Sabah BN to intensify its effort to reach out to the people, especially the younger generation, using the new media, blogs and social web pages like Facebook and Twitter.
