Pos Malaysia today urged the public not to respond to any calls or voice messages purportedly from the company or any of its subsidiaries requesting for personal details to facilitate the delivery of documents, including documents allegedly from the High Court.

In a statement today, Pos Malaysia said it had received inquiries from customers informing that that certain irresponsible individuals have been calling and leaving voice messages, purportedly from Pos Malaysia, requesting for their personal details to facilitate delivery.

"Pos Malaysia or any of its subsidiaries do not solicit or request such information from customers through the telephone," the statement said.

Those who have fallen victim to the scam or received such calls can contact Pos Malaysia's Customer Care hotline at 1300-300 300 or lodge a police report.
