The results of the 2011 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination will be announce on March 21, the Education Ministry said.

The analysis of the results would be held at the ministry, in Putrajaya, on the same day at 9am, it said in a statement.

Candidates will be able to obtain their results from their respective schools from 10am while private candidates will receive theirs through the post or by contacting the state education offices where they registered for the examination.

The results can also be obtained through mySMS , which will be activated from 10am until midnight on March 21.

A total of 468,808 candidates sat for the examination last year.
