Sarawak declares April 11 as public holiday

Sarawak has declared April 11 as a public holiday in conjunction with the installation of Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah.

This was announced by the Sarawak Chief Minister Department’s Public Relations and Corporate Affairs Unit in a statement today.
Chief secretary to the government Mohd Sidek Hassan had last month declared that the installation day would be made a public holiday for peninsular Malaysia and the Federal Territory of Labuan.
