Zarinah confident of Ranjit's capabilities to succeed her
Securities Commission chairperson Zarinah Anwar is confident her successor, Ranjit Ajit Singh, has the capabilities to carry on her work.
Securities Commission chairperson Zarinah Anwar is confident her successor, Ranjit Ajit Singh, has the capabilities to carry on her work.
Zarinah, who will resign at the end of the month, said Ranjit, with 20 years of experience, has the character needed to lead the regulatory body in this competitive world.
"I hope everybody will cooperate with Ranjit, a specialist in the capital market, to improve the performance and competitiveness of the capital market," she said after the Persatuan Remisier Bumiputera Malaysia's (Pribumi) annual general meeting and the launch of "Icon Bumiputera PLC 2011" book today.
Also present was Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister Office Ahmad Maslan.
