Three suspects, including a woman, believed to have been involved in the gruesome murder of Nurul Nadirah Abdullah or Dirang, five, have been remanded until March 23.

The remand order was issued by Lower Courts Registrar Nuriza Mustaffa in Johor Baru today.

The three suspects, between 30 to 40 years old, were in lock-up uniforms and kept their heads lowered to avoid showing their faces when they arrived at the courthouse entrance which was crowded with reporters.

All three had earlier tested positive for methamphetamine and syabu, while two of them have previous criminal records for drug abuse and theft.
