Clearly Ridhuan is still living in the past

VOXPOP 'Notice how Ridhuan is silent when Umno applies racist policies that serves to enrich only the party leaders while its members gets peanuts.'

Dong Zong's demands 'insolent', says Ridhuan Tee

vox populi small thumbnail Trueglitter: Ridhuan Tee Abdullah, your lambasting and demonising the Chinese, and in particular Chinese education group Dong Zong, would be perceived as an act of political opportunism.

Despite being just an associate professor, your head has swollen with unconcealed arrogance and stupefying venom like "a man with a hammer, and everyone is a nail", and you maliciously set out to wreak havoc and display your bitterness.

How dare you to charge the Chinese education group with having the same ideology as the communists when you know well that we are merely struggling to ensure the preservation and protection of our Chinese education rights and privileges due to us and our children, particularly in a society where such rights and privileges are slowly but surely eroding away.

Lim Chong Leong: Chinese Malaysians are real capitalists. Despite all that is stacked against them in commerce and education, they come to own a large portion of the economy. How is that communistic?

The Chinese came to Malaya to look for a better living and escape the advancing communist army.

Just because China became communist, doesn't mean the Chinese in Malaysia are. Ridhuan is trying to equate Chinese with communists and confuse our history.

Malaysia ABU: And he is the associate professor in the National Defence University. What kind of military personnel are our country training?

YF: Ridhuan is one funny Malaysian. How can Ridhuan ever be one when he seeks not to understand others and rants away?

Notice how Ridhuan is silent when Umno applies racist and partisan policies that serves to enrich only the party leaders while its members gets peanuts. Is this in line with Islam?

So what principles does Ridhuan stand by? Certainly not Islam and certainly not the adat Melayu (that Umno no longer practises), but rather a perverted Umno world view that is godless and lawless. Just take a look at the children of these Umno leaders.

Ridhuan, who are "us" when you said, "My advice is that no matter how much we give in to them, the ultra kiasu will not vote for us"?

"Us" as in Chinese Muslims? "Us" as in Malay Muslims? "Us" as in Malays? Or "us" as in Umno? It can't be Chinese Muslims since there are no complaints from the Chinese Muslim community.

It can't be Malay Muslims since even Malay Muslims in PAS, PKR, DAP have no issues with it. It can't be Malays as Malays in PAS, PKR and DAP have no issues with it.

It also can't be Umno since you are not a member of Umno. So what "us" are you referring to?

Is it you, yourself and I? You seem to have a split personality here. Do get professional help to solve your incoherent thinking.

Absolom: The growing significance of the Chinese schools in Malaysian education is the direct result of the failure of the national education policy - failure to cater to the needs and wants of all Malaysian people.

Everybody including the taxi driver knows what this failure is and how to rectify it. It is a matter of willingness of the government to want to change.

Having said that, the second thing is, the Chinese schools (and Tamil schools) are not the answer to best practise in education in this country. Just because you sing the Negaraku or read the Rukunnegara does not make you a model citizen ready for racial integration. These schools have to go.

But the government has to take the first step to make national schools really national and make all races be willing to go there like they used to. We don't need non-entities like Ridhuan to tell us. Ask the taxi driver.

Logger123: Prof Ridhuan Tee, as an academician, should know better than condemn Dong Zong's stand. We are all free to debate. Whether we agree or disagree is another matter. But debate is the fundamental act in building a consensual rule-based society.

So why call them insolent; why bring up the communist bogeyman? Why use these emotional hot-button words to tar Dong Zong? Do you lack the intellectual capacity and ability to take on and debate Dong Zong's assertions?

Yap CS: We should not pay any attention to this fake person. His agenda is to stir up sentiments between Malay and Chinese.

This is a sure sign that elections are coming. It's an excuse for them to declare martial law when the polls don't go their way.

Anonymous: Let MCA leaders answer Dr Ridhuan Tee.

Lewd video, messages targeting Anwar sent to MP

Chill: Yes, one can sense that something is really not right with BN's election modus operandi. Whatever they do, however hard they try to gain the people's trust, it only gets them the opposite reaction.

They seem to be at a loss, running around like a pack of wild dogs, barking relentlessly, doing more damage than good.

They have stooped so low: engaging hecklers, goons and thugs to disrupt ceramah, intimidating opposition parties, staging counter rallies with paid ignorant protestors, circulating morphed sex tapes, the list is endless.

But what they don't understand is that the more they attempt at it, the more disgusted and angry the rakyat become.

You can't use the same ruse every time. People get bored with it.

Indeed, Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim had mentioned earlier, that there will be distractions thrown in to get the people to stop focusing on the various scandals and pertinent issues that have lately emerged with the PM at wit's end to answer.

Headhunter: BN, when are you going to stop this muck? Now you know why many Malaysians think you are no longer fit to rule?

1Muak: Don't expect the police or the MCMC (Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission) to lift a finger to investigate or take action. That's only for Umno.

Anonymous_3e21: I really don't understand the government's stand on this matter. It seems to me those crooks can do anything so long the target is Anwar.

Are we going have a government that does not respect laws anymore? Is Malaysia turning into a lawless country?
