Shahrizat not the only 'diseased' Umno member

VOXPOP 'Only one diseased member in Umno? What Umno needs to undergo is a complete amputation of all its rotten body parts which have turned gangrened.'

Wanita No 2: 'Diseased' member will ruin us

vox populi small thumbnail Anonymous_3f4a: What Wanita deputy chief Kamilia Ibrahim says may sound reasonable on paper but then, Umno as a whole is a 'diseased' party.

So whether Wanita chief Shahrizat Abdul Jalil resigns or not is of no consequence. Besides the National Feedlot Corporation (NFC) scandal, there are scores of other scandals whose heads remain largely unscathed.

Free And Fair Election: There are diseases that have been diagnosed while many have not. Just because one has been exposed it does not mean there are no more diseases in Umno.

In fact, Umno has been so infected that these diagnosed diseases have not been removed because if you remove them, others will be affected.

What we need to do is get rid of these entire diseased Umno and replace them with a new government.

Geronimo: Only one diseased member in Umno? What Umno needs to undergo is a complete amputation of all its rotten body parts which have turned gangrened.

Oh, I forgot. Then that would mean there will be nothing left of Umno except body parts which can't be sold either, due to the high rate of decomposition.

Ksn: Kamilia, you are right about Shahrizat. In fact, instead of waiting for her to resign on her own, and that is not happening, she must be sacked by the PM.

But you are of course acting in your self-interest and exploiting the situation to your advantage - a typical politician, no doubt with good backing, unseen, from some powerful people in the party.

But you need not worry about diseases and discarding the sick with contagious illnesses because you are all, the entire Umno, as the RM100 billion man pronounced, a people without quality and talent.

Which is true, little realising that that drop in quality, talent was his contribution to Umno, bringing it to its present condition, ready to perish.

Pemerhati: Now why is Kamilia Ibrahim picking on only Shahrizat's disease while ignoring the serious diseases of many other much more senior Umno members?

We recently read of the son of a minister who has a bodyguard and who drives a Porsche and goes around physically harming people with the help of his bodyguard, but is never brought to justice. This minister is said to suffer from a severe disease called ‘Taxiitis'.

Then there is the top Umno man who suffers from multiple contagious diseases known as ‘Port Dicksonia', Scopenohrea' and ‘Altantunyaitis'.

Noh Omar upbeat on BN winning big in Selangor

Anonymous: I dread to think if Umno-BN does wrestled back Selangor. Through votes rigging, there's a possibility.

I do hope Pakatan Rakyat has the capacity and experience to monitor closely the dirty tactics which Umno-BN will definitely employ.

I had a number of my friends who were trying to register as first-time voters on Friday at six post offices in Kepong and Sungai Buloh. They were told by the Pos Malaysia counter clerks that they ran out of registration forms!

How can the EC (Election Commission) not have extra forms on stand-by, especially when the deadline to register being on Saturday? This is very fishy on EC's part.

Anonymous2: Former finance minister Daim Zainuddin said PM Najib Razak was a general without soldiers. Absolutely right, sir, for Najib is no fighter at all as he is used to get things on a silver platter.

Rather than fighting for votes, he loves buying them. Rather than grooming party members to his cabinet and parliament, he loves fishing those from the sewers. Rather than fighting in court to clear his name, he loves chanting oath at mosques.

And he loves beating empty drum rather than building substance - Malaysia the world's best democracy, ‘rakyat didahulukan', 1Malaysia. Why fight for the risky mandate when the good life can go on until May 2013?

Anonymous3: They gave free dinners for 10,000 people in Ipoh recently during the PM's visit and not too long ago, another 3,500 people for the 1Malaysia dinner.

Since it was free food and paid with the rakyat's money, not from the PM's pocket, there will be big crowds going there for the food. But the vote is still for Pakatan.

Fair Play: At best, Selangor Umno deputy chief Noh Omar is counting the chickens before they are hatched.

Karma: The last time Pandan voters gave then MCA president Ong Tee Keat the seat was because he would be able to fight for justice for the Chinese community.

However, his fight ended when he was ousted as party chief. MCA will lose Pandan because the people have lost trust in BN, especially how Ong was mistreated. Ong may win if he runs as an Independent or if he joins Pakatan.

Noh's ignorance showed that Umno is too busy dreaming or they knew they can buy the Malay votes and just need some Chinese votes.

Anonymous4: Seriously, if Umno wins in Selangor, the jewel state of the country is finished.

It will be governed by a bunch of nincompoops whose priority would be to enrich themselves. All the hard work and money saved by Pakatan will come to nought.

That BN might win remains a possibility with the help of the EC (Election Commission) and its people who will rig the polls.
