Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak arrived in Phnom Penh tonight for the two-day Asean Summit starting tomorrow.

Accompanied by his wife Rosmah Mansor, Najib arrived at the Phnom

Penh International Airport at 10.30pm local time (11.30pm in Malaysia).

They were welcomed by Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman, International rade and Industry Minister Mustapa Mohamed and Cambodian Tourism Minister Thong Khun.

The prime minister will join other Asean leaders in the plenary session

after the opening ceremony of the 20th Asean Summit tomorrow morning at the Peace Palace.

Najib will then attend the Asean Leaders Meeting with Asean Inter-Parliamentary Assembly representatives, civil society organisations

representatives and youths' representatives.

On Wednesday, the summit retreat and concluding session will be held.

Apart from that, Najib is also scheduled to attend the 6th Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) as well as the 8th

Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East Asean Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) eetings.
