PKR: NFC bosses now divesting properties

If what he said was true, how come the NFC can dispose its assets? It is high time for someone from the Treasury and the Finance Ministry to explain and tell the truth, is it not?

Amaso: Legal or not, the authorities concerned should freeze all assets bought using the NFC soft loan even though the assets may be registered under different companies or individuals.

By doing so, there's a better chance of recovering taxpayers' blood and sweat money. Crooks are not so stupid as to register assets under NFC, and the sad thing is the enforcement is fooled by the crooks.

Kairos: There appears to be collusion between the Umno top guns and the NFC top management team to allow sufficient time for the crooks to disentangle themselves.

It absolutely amazes me that our law enforcement agencies are so lax in the plugging the loopholes, knowing very well that the NFC culprits will do whatever they can to divest and to cover up their tracks.

Either our law enforcement authorities are totally incompetent or that they are deliberately dragging their feet so that the crooks can go scot-free.

It appears that only PKR director of strategy Rafizi Ramli is working on the case and the rest are sleeping. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable.

Only in Malaysia can this happen. It's time for change.

MACC trio cleared by AG's Chambers

Versey: Now I begin to comprehend why MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) could claim itself as "the best of the best" - is there any anti-corruption agency in the civilised world could have done what they did to TBH (Teoh Beng Hock), yet be cleared of wrongdoing?

Is this the kind of transformation programme that the PM wants to champion?

Nay, it looks more like transforming this beloved country of ours into one to be ruled by the law of the jungle, headed and administered by a bunch of ruthless gangsters and barbarians.

JBGUY: Once again the Attorney-General's Chambers have acted despicably by allowing the guilty parties to be free.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the AG not being charged for corruption by the MACC for his trip to perform the umrah allegedly at the expense of a proxy of ex-Malaysia Airlines chief Tajuddin Ramli.

The AG has lost all semblance of impartiality; in fact he is a downright criminal if we were to take the word of so many high-ranking police officers. He should be fired.

Is he returning the favour to MACC? For God sake, someone got killed. How can nobody be responsible? BN will have to pay for this in the next GE for covering this one up.

James1067: Life is created by God and life only belongs to him. Just by finding these people not guilty won't wash away their crime, for all those who committed the crime and those who covered up the murder will have to answer to God.

And the facts remained that an innocent victim is dead or 'forced to die'. Maybe, these trio should be promoted and be awarded with some honorary titles?

And is this case, proof of blanket immunity granted to government enforcement agencies to murder and maim those in the opposition as a form of oppression?
