Najib left stones unturned in TBH probe

VOXPOP 'I hold PM Najib and former Selangor MB Khir Toyo personally responsible for the ‘murder' of Teoh Beng Hock.'

Teoh RCI: No word yet from MACC men named

vox populi small thumbnail Blogsmith: They are still investigating years after DAP aide Teoh Beng Hock's death and nine months after the royal commission of inquiry (RCI) named the three officers, plus no real commitment has been shown that they intend to really do anything.

These are clear delay tactics. The only way to get real justice for Teoh Beng Hock is to kick out Umno-BN from Putrajaya.

GoneBananas : I hold PM Najib Razak and former Selangor MB Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo personally responsible for the ‘murder' of Teoh Beng Hock.

It was Najib who announced, shortly after being installed as prime minister, that Umno would wrest Selangor back from Pakatan Rakyat.

Khir Toyo, to regain favour, instantly went into action, calling on his close friend Hishamuddin Hashim, deputy director of MACC in Selangor, to come up with an excuse to nab a few DAP excos and pin some dirt on them.

It is to DAP's credit that after such intense scrutiny and brutal interrogation, the only ‘hanky-panky' the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) could dig up involved some administrative procedure over RM2,400 worth of flags for Merdeka Day.

Imagine what MACC would have found if they had turned their attention to Khir Toyo or Najib instead.

Smartvoters: That is why voting Umno-BN in this coming general election is totally out of question.

Vote Umno-BN and they or their agencies will ‘kill' you because they are just obsessed with power and they are extremely arrogant, and they do not want their corruption and abuse of power to be exposed.

Nambekei 7: For all those who had believed Najib and his promise of justice, padan muka (a slap in the face).

There was never going to be any real investigation nor justice for the taxi driver's son. I hope the family continues to seek justice and it will only come when the opposition takes over Putrajaya.

YF: MACC is so eager to torture non-Umno folks such as Teoh, but slow to torture their own. It makes one wonder whether under BN we live in an Islamic state or a Satanic one.

'Tabung Haji moved RM300k to CEO's account'

Headhunter: No well-managed company in the world would even transfer any money to its CEO (chief executive officer) unless the money is earned by him.

There is simply no excuse whatever to do it unless it's fraud. The story stinks and this is just another worm crawling out of the can, among others.

Deputy Finance Minister Donald Lim would be well advised to clear the case at the onset by disclosing all the details or else he's going to be dragged under by it.

D4f : If as Donald Lim says the transfer was ‘according to procedure', such a procedure should be widely known to the rakyat. Why is it that nobody knows what this is all about. What kind of procedure is this?

Zar: They want to take from even the Tabung Haji fund which is the savings of those going for haj? Truly no one is safe as long as BN-Umno is in government.

Smartvoters: Yes, it seems Tabung Haji has also taken up native customary land of the Sarawak natives for its oil palm plantations.

That has made the natives landless and squatters on their own land. I thought Islam strictly prohibits inflicting injustice against another human being.

Apaisaloi: It seem now that Tabung Haji is a private company belonging to individuals or else no amount of money could be transferred other than wages/salary.

Let Perkasa and Umno handle this as this is damaging to Umno's image. If they are silent, it means they are also in cahoots with the crooks.

Steve: There are so many big guns (tan sris and datuks) in the board of directors and many professionals in senior management, I think CFO (chief financial officer) Rozaida Omar is just following instructions, so pity her.

If this has just happened in Tabung Haji, what about other GLCs and investment arms like Khazanah, Danaharta and so on?

James1067: The Tabung Haji CEO earns RM85,000 a month? No wonder people fight tooth and nail to enter politics. The rewards can last a lifetime, even the children and grandchildren will be there to enjoy the fruits.

Anon-23: Hey Donald Lim, I'll give you my bank account. Can you bank in say RM50,000 for me? According to procedure, of course.
