YOURSAY 'MCA is desperately playing the ‘race against race' game, pitting the Chinese against the Malays when speaking about PAS.'

'DAP's support for PAS does non-Muslims no good'

your say Jiminy Qrikert: Selangor MCA secretary Wong Koon Mun, I am willing vote for a PAS Malay candidate than I would vote for an MCA Chinese candidate. What is important is not race, but what PAS stands for.

PAS has every right to fight for an Islamic state just as non-Muslims have every right to oppose it. This is what democracy is.

And because we all believe in a democratic process in supporting our rights, it also means that PAS must respect the right of Malay Muslims to not support an Islamic state.

Until the constitution is changed, Malay Muslims who do not want an Islamic state but prefer a secular one have the protection of the constitution.

And if PAS stands for righteousness, truth, goodwill, peace, equality for all in the eyes of God and man and champions ‘ketuanan rakyat' regardless of race, I will vote for PAS than for MCA, which so far has proven to be crude, vulgar, two-faced, unprincipled, pornographic, blatant cheats, corrupted, lying urinals for Umno.

Pondering Why: MCA is a senior partner in the BN that has enriched itself by supporting corruption at the expense of the very race it supposedly represents.

The Chinese Malaysians substantially contribute towards the progress of the nation by being innovative, taking risks and being industrious. What MCA has done is to capitalise this advantage to basically enrich themselves.

Now we want the alternative in the form of Pakatan Rakyat that primarily wants to integrate all Malaysians as a single race, i.e. bangsa Malaysia. We no longer condone the ongoing divide-and-rule policy that BN relies on to stay relevant after 54 years of gross misrule.

We want to be Malaysians with no racial demarcations. We want total commitment to root out corruption, abuse and misrule.

We want leaders who are committed to the well-being of the nation and not for themselves, their families and cronies. We want a government that fears the people and that looks after the well-being of all the people.

Wanderer: MCA, heal thy souls first before you advise others. You crooked people have the audacity to preach your hypocrisy when you have been working hand in hand with Umno, robbing the rights of non-Malays dry.

You went to bed with the so-called ‘ketuanan' fake-bumis while lining your bloated wallets. What good have you done for the Chinese community? Zero!

Disgusted: MCA is desperately playing the ‘race against race' game again, pitting the Chinese against the Malays when speaking about PAS on one hand, and the Malays against the Chinese when speaking about DAP.

It's the same old method they have been using for decades and the rakyat have stopped buying it anymore. They will ensure MCA is sent into political wilderness without a single seat gained in the next elections.

Louis: I am a Chinese Christian. Between PAS and Umno, I will not hesitate to vote the former. As I see it, PAS is more sincere and its leaders are honest.

As for Umno, it is a proven fact that for the past 52 years, it has been exploiting the rakyat to enrich its members and families.

Besides, during that same period, Umno has been suppressing the non-Malays in almost every field.

In education, the vernacular schools had to beg for a paltry sum every year. On the other hand, PAS was able to allocate land for Chinese schools and temples.

ForTheNation: PAS is way better than Umno. So DAP is on the right track. As for MCA, please find something more constructive to say, rather than the usual racial crap.

Anonymous #18267907: I think DAP's support for PAS really does non-Muslims all the good in the world.

MCA leaders have looted 10 percent of the country's richness (while Umno has taken 85 percent, MIC 5 percent) while ordinary Malaysians have suffered.

Anonymous_4056: Chinese everywhere in this nation are not worried about PAS taking control of the federal government; in fact we strongly support it.

All policies of PAS are not only good for Muslims but the other races as well. Tell us, what's wrong with restriction on alcohol consumption, gambling, prostitution and lottery? Only Umno supports such vices.

Fair&Just: These MCA fellows continuously harp on DAP issues only, and is not working for the betterment of the community.

All they do is obediently run behind their masters at their beck and call, scheming to mislead their community like flip-flopping on the Lynas issue.

Tpn: MCA, go and handle Malay rights pressure group Perkasa first and then you can lecture DAP. For example, you should demand Umno cuts off all ties with Perkasa.
