Amangate: Why the elegant silence from MACC?

VOXPOP 'An MACC leak? Must be Umno infighting. MACC doesn't do anything without the go-ahead from Putrajaya.'

MACC leaks show Sabah CM's bank links with Chia

vox populi small thumbnail Pompom: Sarawak Report again? There is no buzz in Sarawak, so now they are shifting their attention to Sabah for more scoops to make their website more relevant.

The allegations against Sabah CM Musa Aman is an old case which has no grounds. Besides, I won't put my trust in Michael Chia. This person will say anything just to save his own skin.

May I suggest that Sarawak Report publish instead articles that highlight our CM's accomplishments.

The man has exceeded beyond expectation and has brought Sabah to a new level of development and prosperity, in spite of the turbulent global economy in recent times.

Time and time again, the CM has spent countless hours administering the state without much fuss, all for the benefit of Sabahans.

Spinnot: Allow Hong Kong ICAC (Independent Commission Against Corruption) to proceed with its investigation and charge the relevant people in a Hong Kong court.

Only then, we know who is lying. There is no point for Musa to issue recycled denials or using cyber troopers to attack Sarawak Report .

Andrea Sinu: Look can be deceiving and all of these so-called documents and photographs are no exception.

Anybody can made this up and claimed that the documents are leaked from MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission), but the truth is that the documents could be forged, who knows?

Musa Aman is already rich even before he joined the politics and many people don't know this. It's their ignorance on this very fact which has resulted in all these accusations.

Not Convinced: " Malaysiakini has repeatedly contacted MACC for comment but failed to get a response."

If the documents are indeed forged, why the elegant silence from MACC?

Gobsmacked!: The Sabah CM should resign immediately if found to be lying in claiming that he has nothing to do with Michael Chia.

For a CM to be found lying in such a serious matter is a grave offence.

GoneBananas: That Musa Aman is corrupt is not news. After all, he's an Umno warlord. But the good news is that a few MACC oficers are obviously unhappy about being forced to be accessories to white-collar crimes.

Remember the anonymous letter on MACC stationery naming deputy director Hishamuddin Hashim and former Selangor MB Dr Mohd Khir Toyo as the chief conspirators in the Teoh Beng Hock episode?

Anonymous_3da0: Why now, I wonder, as the investigation was done in 2010. An MACC leak? Must be Umno infighting. MACC doesn't do anything without the go-ahead from Putrajaya.

The spotlight in on who will replace Musa Aman - same as in Sarawak when Putrajaya tried the same stunt on Taib and got whacked.

Dataran Merdeka belongs to the rakyat, says Ambiga

James1067: Dataran Merdeka have been used for so many functions, even I have seen people playing netball on one occasion. The roads were closed and nobody complained about business going bad, so why now.

The point is free and fair elections, of which one requirement is the cleaning of the electoral roll. Why is it so difficult for the EC (Election Commission) to accommodate this proposal as everyday mistakes appear in the roll?

Clean it for the better of every political party. Unless, of course, you have something to hide, EC.

Anti-Corruption: Bersih co-coordinator S Ambiga, have no fear on the numbers on April 28. I am sure many more will turn up compared to Bersih 2.0.

Our conscience have been awoken by your courageous effort to clean the corrupt electoral system. I was not in the first two Bersih rallies, but this time my brothers and I will be there.

I will also try to encourage as many of my friends as possible to attend. We need to send a clear signal to this corrupt government that they cannot manipulate the elections.

Let's have a level-playing field so that we can elect a legitimate government, not the cheats who have governed us for the past 55 years.

RR: We only hope the police will not mess up the gathering as they did it in Bersih 2.0. and bring shame to the leadership of Umno-BN in the eyes of the world.

Bersih cannot take over the government as this is not a uprising or coup d'etat. They just want to create an awareness amongst the people peacefully after having seen irregularities in the electoral rolls.

Let good sense prevail in the government and the police handling of this matter.

Ferdtan: Let 28th of April be the day where Malaysians got freedom from the frauds committed in the electoral process in the Freedom Square.
