In an effort to get closer to youths,  Selangor Barisan Nasional (BN) last night launched an ‘ Ops Kibar dan Santai Orang Muda ’ programme.

Its coordinator Mohd Zin Mohamed said the weekly programme, which would feature entertainment-type activities, would kick off this Friday at the compound of the Selangor Umno building in Shah Alam.

“It will give opportunities to youths to showcase their talents whether in music, culutue or poetry declamations,” he told reporters after the launch.

Popular 80s singer Poe delivered a few numbers at the launch while Mohd Zin recited a poem.
