The People’s Progressive Party (PPP) plans to open more food distribution centres (FDCs) to help the needy in Johor and Kedah under its ‘Project Feed: Food for Needy’ initiative.

PPP Youth head Harridz Mohan said the first such centre was opened in Taman Sentosa, Klang on March 4 where 100 lunch boxes were given out for free daily.

“We will use mobile vans to distribute free lunches for the needy in the selected areas,” he told Bernama in Kuala Lumpur today.

He added that PPP was also looking into extending breakfast and dinner aid for the needy.
