Puteri Umno chief Rosnah Abdul Rashid Shirlin has dismissed Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim’s claim that a number of Sabah elected representatives would be joining opposition

parties as a tall tale.

She said this was just an attempt by Anwar to cover up the weaknesses and flaws in his own party in order to deceive the people.

In a statement today, Rosnah said this also showed that Anwar had run out of ideas other than repeatedly claiming that the opposition group had won the hearts of many Sabahans to the extent that they wanted to join the opposition parties.

“We, the people’s elected representatives from Sabah will never be enticed by the 'candy' offered by Anwar and his supporters who are out to get BN reps to join them as an easy way to win the coming general election.

“Anwar's claim also shows that the opposition pact lacks leaders who can become elected reps, so he's trying to get them from BN in Sabah,” said Rosnah, who also advised Anwar to stop his drama and tall tale which could only put people off.

    

She said the BN government's hard work had made Sabah a developing state which prioritised looking after the people’s needs and the efforts were being continued by the Sabah elected reps.

Recently, Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said Anwar had once again made a big lie by claiming there were BN elected reps in Sabah who would be joining the opposition, thus giving it the edge to form the next government.

He said Anwar had lied to show that he had a lot of people’s support in Sabah but until today, his claims on the crossing-over had never materialised.
