Azmin: Pakatan parties to use only one manifesto
Pakatan Rakyat has agreed to use only one manifesto with emphasis on major economic and educational issues for the 13th general election.
Pakatan Rakyat has agreed to use only one manifesto with emphasis on major economic and educational issues for the 13th general election.
Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) deputy president Mohamed Azmin Ali said there would be only one manifesto using the initials 'PR' at the national level while the ruling party at the state-level could have their own manifestos under the Pakatan framework.
He said the coalition had deliberated on seat allocation and resolved many overlapping claims except for a small number, including one in Kedah, which was expected to be concluded in June.
“The presidential council has set a guideline on seat allocation and in the spirit of cooperation, there will be a straight fight between Pakatan and BN. We decided that there will be no bargaining for seats won by any component party,” he said after handing over campaign material to PKR election operation directors from Kedah and Perlis in Alor Setar today.
