Association of Banks assisting cops over ATM break-ins
The Association of Banks in Malaysia is assisting the police in their investigations into the recent break-in and vandalism of automated teller machines (ATMs).

The banks are also working with various partners that host off-site machines such as petrol station dealers and shopping complexes to prevent such incidents.
These include the installation of closed circuit television and alarm systems and to improve such systems already in place, the association said in a statement.
Association chairperson Abdul Wahid Omar said banks were conducting reviews of present ATM locations and may opt to relocate them, besides enhancing the site security aspects.
